This is the original Fairfax County CERT blog. It is intended for unrestricted CERT community use. There are several other CERT sites for area teams as well (see "Virginia's (41) CERT's"). See the links in the right column.

I thought that one was run by CERT people, not some company.
You are right. That blog is run by CERT volunteers. If you see he wrote Our immediate goal is to assess the size and needs of our CERT 'community', and establish some initial goals. Perhaps these will do for a start. I think the goal is for the other one to be the offical one. Is this his blogspot only? We should use the fairfaxcountycert one.
I do not thikn people use any of these blogs except for me you and two people. The same is probably true for the other blogspot. Can you just use the other one and then we will have more people in one place.

And since when does she work for Derek? She is a volunteer for CERT.
This blogspot is very good at listing events in the area for CERT people. No other place does it as good.
I agree, the 'FxCoCERT' site has some good stuff. Cathleen's profile is empty, and she has not indicated who she is, but hers is bound to the HLP Inc. corporate profile. I don't suppose that matters, as long as she keeps up the good work. It might be nice to merge the sites if they share enough purpose, but we have not yet explored the options.
